Presentation

From tenacious hard work of a small town on the outskirts of Turin, Settimo Torinese, was born a great tradition in the production of writing instruments, and in particular, of fountain pens. In those years my father, Walter Ponzio, Settimo displaced by the conflict, still a boy he began to work for the various laboratories that produced pens as an apprentice turner. In 1948 he opened his own production activities and repair of fountain pens, "Ponzio Stliografiche" in Turin.

That tradition and the spirit, tied to the craft and a manual by significant artistic content, fountain pens are still alive today in the "Grande Settimo". Pens turned and mounted by hand, unique in shape and choice of materials and their combination, as unique as the writing of each of us.
